Our last few days in France-
tres, tres triste...

Glacier Blanc in the Parc National des Ecrins-
the park begins in an adjacent valley to Serre Che,
another beautiful place full of rivers, big glaciers and big peaks!

Via Ferrata with Rejean

This is as scared as I've been in years , 3 hours of scaling cliffs and crossing swinging bridges and cables hundreds of feet above a raging river- it's confirmed, the French are completely crazy!

Our vacation away from vacation treated us well - 10 days of biking on the Greek island of Crete with the Stevensons and 10 days checking out the French island of Corisica.

Crete...

30,000,000 olive trees on the island (seriously)!

"What's in there Justin?"

Ooooh.

The 4000 yr old palace of Phaistos.

The cave where Zeus was born.

Corsica...

We had a great time with the McLathams and Yvan.
Sante bonheur!

Day one: Mongenevre, unfortunately most of the mountain was closed due to too much snow- 80 cm of heavy, wet snow.

Refuge Napoleon for dinner... and drinks!

The late night skiers.

A day of skiin' corn off piste.

Oh, and some grass skiin' too!
Skied the back side of La Grave...

all the way down...

well, skied almost all the way...

to lunch at the bottom...

and a bus ride home.
Zach and Matt 'havin' one' at Serre Che.

An American Party for my fellow pisteurs...
complete with hamburgers and...

a shotski!

The weather went bad so we headed to Italy for their last few days for some biking and some fine Italian wine:
